This evening, enjoy a cocktail party aboard the Murphy’s On The Water Tall Ship.

Day 4 - Tall Ship Viewing: Get your bearings with a city tour of Halifax. Then, use your included day pass to view the vessels at The 2009 Tall Ships Festival. It is the largest Tall Ships gathering in North America in a decade, where over 60 ships from 30 countries will take centre stage in Halifax harbour. The Festival is part of an international race series that circles the North Atlantic Ocean, and will welcome some of the world’s most majestic Tall Ships to Halifax, including Canada’s own Bluenose II.

Day 5 - Lunenburg, NS: Today, travel to Lunenburg, a historic town that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about the area’s maritime heritage with a tour of the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic and an excursion on a Lobster boat. Travel along the scenic shoreline to visit Peggy’s Cove. Enjoy time here to take pictures of its famous lighthouse before returning to Halifax.

Day 6 - Pier 21: This morning, enjoy breakfast at Pier 21, Canada’s Immigration Museum, followed by a guided tour. The Museum documents the unique and touching stories of immigration experienced by the thousands of refugees, war brides, and evacuee children, who passed through the doors on their way to a new life in Canada. This afternoon, experience the Parade of Tall Ships, marking the end of this year's festival.

Day 7 - Fredericton, NB: Your return journey begins as you travel through New Brunswick, stopping for an overnight stay in Fredericton. Your hotel is across from the province’s Parliament and a short walk from Christ Church Cathedral.
