Shipbuilding Museum & Historic Yeo House
Port Hill, Rte 12, west of Summerside. Located in Green Park Provincial Park.

The museum includes an interpretive centre tracing the history of shipbuilding during the 1800s, a recreated shipyard and the restored Victorian residence of ship owner James Yeo Jr. Gift shop on site.

The College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada

The College of Piping is 100% authentic - heartfelt Celtic! It is the only year-round institution of its kind in North America. Its mission of "inspiring excellence in Celtic performing arts through quality educational programming" is achieved by offering professional training in bagpiping, drumming, Highland and step dancing. The annual summer-long Celtic Festival includes the Summerside Highland Gathering and a concert series with performances nightly at 7 pm, free mini concerts staged three times daily, and guided tours of the unique campus.

Wyatt Heritage Properties

Nestled in historic downtown Summerside, the properties feature MacNaught History Centre and Archives, the Wyatt House and Lefurgey Cultural Centre. Explore family roots, MacNaught has many genealogical and historic resources available. Nearby, enjoy an entertaining, guided interpretive tour of the 1867 Wyatt House - home of the late Dr. Wanda Wyatt. Celtic Festival

The College of Piping is a truly unique cultural destination! The annual summer-long Celtic Festival features an evening concert series with performances nightly at 7 pm. Friday: Canadian Oyster-shucking championships. Singing contest semi-finals. Saturday: Kids Day activities, parade, PEI fiddling and step-dancing championships, adult dance. Sunday: Church service, singing contest finals, community awards, pageant. Fried oyster/scallop dinners. Camping nearby.
