Sherbrooke Village - Sherbrooke
This picturesque former lumbering and shipbuilding community looks as it did 100 years ago, before gold mining transformed it into a boomtown. 25 buildings on their original sites: Cumminger Brothers' Store; Ambrotype Studio; Sherbrooke Hotel; a typical rural doctor's office (c 1910) in the original home; the grand residence of John Cumminger; the Company Store, Nova Scotia crafts; rare working sawmill down the road.

Canso Islands National Historic Site of Canada - Union St. Canso
The site commemorates the significant role the fishery played in international trade and commerce in the early 18th century. Reception Center, an audio-visual show on the Grassy Island settlement, life-size dioramas of the interiors of three island properties - a tavern, a merchant's house, and a military officer's residence - and excavated artifacts. Visitors go to the island by boat an interpretive trail links eight designated sites.

Memory Lane Heritage Village - Lake Charlotte
